Acronym Expansion - bug with polish letters in key

Hello I found a bug. Perhaps Till now each time it was my mistake in configuration, but this time messages are disappearing...

I put this to acronyms:
'submodalności' => 'W NPL w ten sposób określa się cechy obrazów, dźwięków, uczuć, zapachów, smaków. Przykładowe submodalności obrazów: jasność, rozmiar, odległość...'

It was changed to &# notation.

And it is standard behavior - many of my acronyms have polish letters and are changed like this and works, but... This one have also polish letter in a key! And this generates error:

This communicate can be shown many times. And additionally posts are disappearing - all are empty...

I have a similar problem with Norwegian letters.

We use local letters æ, ø, å, Æ, Ø, Å.

When these letters are in a word, the acronym function assumes it is the end of the word, and the tag comes up on words that has nothing to do with the acronym at all.

We're not using any webmaster related acronyms, but here is an example that shows the malfunction on THIS forum's acronym list:
"Prøv" (in English: try). This word has nothing to do with PR, and shouldn't trigger the acronym.

I understand that it is almost impossible for the Acronym function to automatically recognize every possible foreign letter, so:

How about giving us an extra field in the Acronym Expansion settings where we can add custom, local letters that are outside of A-Z?

Acronym Expansions currently only support English characters.

That is pretty obvious, yes.

I suggested a way to solve the problem. How about a response to that instead of just a confirmation of what we've already established?

I haven't decided if I should buy vBSEO licenses for my other vB forums yet, but the ability to properly respond to support issues and solve them is a major factor in that decision.

Any progress in this case? I have similar problem in polish language :/
