Acronym Expansion

I was messing with Acronym Expansion and added an a very common expansion to my list. Although it worked perfect, it also expanded that acronym for a couple of my users usernames. I think that's a bug, as it makes the user unable to send PM's that can be replied to and possibly more, since his name now shows as the expanded version, but doesn't actually exist.

So if theirs a way to exclude expanding usernames that would be great.

currently Acronym expansion feature is applied to the whole page output, so it cannot exclude certain parts from processing. It is suggested not to apply expansion to the common words that may be used our of message context (like in usernames).
