Is there a way to make pagespeed save the directory structure of images?

I would like to know if there's a way to make the pagespeed addon for firefox save the directory structure for images like Yahoo's smush it program does.

The pagespeed addon does a better job with compression than smush it imo but the main problem is the random crap it adds to the end of each image... that and it fails to save the directory structure.
