Post Permalinks URL Change

its good how it is.. the #NO takes u to the post number, which looks good..

I've got links like
...forumas/1661-gran-theft-gta-4-pc.html
but i would like to make then look like
...forumas/1661-gran-theft-gta-4-pc
would it be possible to do without loosing the old ones for example, make old ones to redirect with 301 to the new ones?
