I was checking out my meta tags. I noticed that in the keywords, the title of the thread was showing up on first places and but in the description, the first few words (27) of the thread were showing up by using forced Meta Tags option in
vBSEO.
For example, its like this with title in bold font.
<meta name="keywords" content="
vBSEO is a Brilliant Product,
SEO, Content Relevant URLs, Search Engine Optimization. />
<meta name="description" content="hi, i would like to congratulate you for a great product that they are offering."
Now, I dont think description if fully optimized for relevant keywords as first few words in a topic hardly explain the theme of the thread...
Wouldn't it be better, if we could again put the thread title in the first places in the description as well. This should make the page more optimized for a search engine.
Like this...
<meta name="keywords" content="
vBSEO is a Brilliant Product,
SEO, Content Relevant URLs, Search Engine Optimization. />
<meta name="description" content="
vBSEO is a Brilliant Product hi, i would like to congratulate you for a great product they are offering."
And, if in case, it is not a good practice to have same keywords in keyword and description tags in the first places, then perhaps the title of the thread could be put at the end of the description or perhaps automatically jumbled or put inbetween the content of description tag.
Like this...
<meta name="description" content="hi, i would like to congratulate you for a great product they are offering.
vBSEO is a Brilliant Product"
Or like this...
<meta name="description" content="hi, i would like to congratulate you
vBSEO is a Brilliant Product for a great product they are offering."
Or like this... by using stop words option
<meta name="description" content="Brilliant
vBSEO Product hi, i would like to congratulate you for a great product they are offering."
What do you think?
