Question NEED: Copy and Paste of default navbar template. Can't revert, our master is corrupt...

We need a complete unedited copy of the "navbar" template for 4.0.2. Somehow ours is corrupt and some things are acting funny. No amount of reverting, creating new and overwriting has repaired these issues, so we are hopeful that manually overwriting the incomplete template will end our woes.

    The one we need is accessible here: Admincp=>Styles and Templates=>Style Manager=>Default Style--Edit Templates=>Navigation/Breadcrumb Templates=>navbar

Would someone be willing to copy and paste the entire contents of this template for us?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi understated,

Can you not get it from your vbulletin-style.xml?

You can just use the "revert template" command.

    Hi.

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately we've already been down those roads and a lot of others too. We've even uploaded all files and ran the upload script again. We've uploaded tools file, patched it, and then reinstalled master that way; we've moved css back and forth from and to the filesystem. You can see our navbar woes when viewing our site in IE 7 or 8. The dropdowns under community and quick links don't work. There are also validation errors in the same places these functions should be? vB support was anything but; so, we're completely on our own with this--but at least we know it.

At this point we'd really like to lay ours side by side with an unmodified copy and compare line by line. If they match, at least we'd know the problem is elsewhere...

    Thanks again.

We are not allowed to distribute files from vbulltein. You will need to either get them from another install you may have or visit vb.com for further support.

You should contact vBulletin.com's support tickets/forums for this.

    Thanks for trying.

vB support tickets were a waste of time and energy and the forums there were no help either...
Since, your support has always been great, we figured we'd give it a shot over here. Oh well.

You could always dig into the .xml file from the download and copy and paste that, but further support for vBulletin should be asked there.

    Are you talking about "vbulletin-style.xml"?

edit: Now we understand what you meant in the earlier post. We went on a fishing expedition and were able to extract the entire template out of the above referenced file. Unfortunately they match exactly--our trouble is elsewhere.

    Thanks again gentlemen!
