How to show certain custom profile fields to users from a specific user group?

I've been searching for this the whole week but i couldnt find no solution.

I want to collect specific information from users of a specific user groups. I want also to display that information.

How can i do this using custom profile fields? The thing is that these extra profile fields are not compatible with other custom profile fields and what i'm looking for is a solution to display either a set of fields or another depending on a condition. In my case the condition is the user is member of a specific group.

I have an example:
The users are either part of the Traders group or part of the Brokers group. Traders have a custom field called "Preferred Broker" which is irelevant for the Brokers. And there are other in the same situation.

So, is there a way to make this kind of separation between the users from 2 user groups?
