Make sure you choose the "variable" radio button. It defaults to searching the text of the phrase.
Yep, sure does.
Thanks
Hi vbSEO.
This might be a stupid question but where can I find the phrase manager?
Thanks.
Fabian
Not a stupid question. Most people on this forum are so used to playing with VB that it makes it very hard for a new person to just jump in and follow what they are telling you to do:
1. Go to the Admin control Panel
2. On the left hand side you will see a section called "Languages & Phrases"
3. In there click on "Search in Phrases"
4. In the box at the top, paste in this: x_powered_by_vbulletin
5. Click on the circle that says "Phrase Variable Name Only"
6. On the next screen at the top you will see this phrase with an edit button to the right. click on the edit button for each one and in the large box at the bottom type in: {1}
7. Hit SAVE and then repeat for other phrases.
That is how you write a tutorial.
Actually, this wasn't meant as a tutorial on how to edit a vBulletin phrase. The vBulletin manual already does that quite well. This was just to show which phrase should be modified.
sorry. where is the VBSEO manual? I only saw a readme file for instillation. Thank you.
The vBulletin Manual, not the vBSEO manual.Editing phrases is part of vBulletin, not vBSEO.

Here's the vBulletin manual: vBulletin Manual

Actually, that's the vBadvanced CMPS manual. The vBulletin manual can be found on vbulletin.com under the "Documentation" link. Or, click here: vBulletin® - Documentation
Edit: Nevermind, I see you updated your link.
Ya gotta give more than a minute or 2, Keith.I was editing my post when you replied.
