    Agreed but the only thing google is indexing is the extra table and image tag which is nothing. My main competer has all the normal welcome header text on every indexed page. I laugh.

    This is an awesome idea!!! I just noticed the welcome headers text in one of my SERPs and it got me to thinking about whether or not I should use welcome headers. I come to vbseo.com and lo and behold, there's already a solution for this problem!

    Update: I implemented this, and it added about 7K to the total page size at a minimum for clear font display. Should be about 1 second at 56K, so not too shabby.

    Thumbs up

    I implemented this using fireworks and it seems to have worked great. I just made teXt for guests be an image since the spiders should not run across the other text. thanks for the tutorial.

    The link to your gif does not work. I was feeling rather generous today and was planning to do gif for you. As I mentioned, you only need to do one gif -- for those who are not registered.

    The link will work. Just copy the link & open another tab & paste there. You can't open the image with the link I provided here just because of I have hotlink enabled & its redirected to my forum. I 'll be greatfull to you if you do that for me.

    Talking

    PHP Code:
    <img name="welcome" src="welcome.jpg" width="766" height="52" border="0" usemap="#m_welcome2"><!-- fwtable fwsrc="Untitled" fwbase="welcome2" fwstyle="Dreamweaver" fwdocid "742308039" fwnested="0" -->
    <
    map name="m_welcome2">
    <
    area shape="rect" coords="474,33,550,52" href="contactus.html" >
    <
    area shape="rect" coords="163,16,224,36" href="register.php" >
    </
    map
    Change the "src="welcome.jpg"" to point to your image and it should work fine.
