H1 Tags and Google Ads in WelcomeHeaders

I was wondering if it were recommended to use h1 tags in the welcome headers instead of showthread and forumdisplay; something like

I was also wondering how The google ads for guests on dani web was done.

URL you have point to daniweb doesnt shows any google ads, they seem to have a very nice custom theme.. advertisements integrated in the theme very effectively.

it is not the basic google ad, which is why i am asking.

She probably has access to a lot more ad types due to her earnings

i guess this isnt anything anybody wants to help me with? :(

you can find this at your AdSense-Setup. It's the third point after AdSense-For-Content-Site and AdSense-For-Search-Site. It is something like Google-recommendations (not sure what it's name in english, I'm using the german version). There you can choose between Banners for "Google AdSense", "Firefox plus Goolge Toolbar", "Google Pack" and some more.
