Change Links for "Act as Category" Forum Headers

When I originally setup my forums, I used the "AdminCP > Forums > Forum Manager > [given forum name] > PostingOptions > Act as Forum = NO" option. This produces a result similar to the vBSEO homepage, except I have not implemented spacing above each header.

Similar to the vBSEO homepage, I would like to make these headers like permalinks, such that they are in the format of /FORUMROOT#headertitle instead of them all having their own unnecessary link/page which dilutes pagerank. This would also need to be updated so that the breadcrumbs gives the same style link. This effectively removes several forum urls from the site entirely.

Is there a straightforward way to do this mod? Any hack I can think of is far from clean... Many thanks.

Well, this was much easier than I thought it would be. Just needed to use the "direct category links" feature in the vBSEO control panel.
