I have a webmaster forum.
I placed my Analytics code in the vbSEO CP but I would like to hear from the pros as to the settings, options in the vbSEO CP to be either enabled or disabled.
Any help or advice?

Hello,
The setting will automatically add the template edit to your code.

Well I am just getting to know the Goog system.
I actually placed the html code (Google analytics) in my index page originally and it was just picking up the homepage.
I have upgraded my forum a couple of times since then which I would assume that the code would have been overwritten but my Goog Analytics account has still been tracking it which I haven't really explored yet.
I then placed my U-code in the vbSEO CP like 24 hours ago or close so I guess I was expecting it to then start listing individual pages or something.
Again, I am a bit stupid when it comes to Google Analytics.

If I were you I would search in your templates for Google. Remove all traces that popup that are related to the analytics code. vBSEO will auto edit it and add it to every page when you set the option to yes.

I just found the google code in my index and removed it.
I thought I had it enabled in vbSEO but I didnt.
What exact Goog settings or options would you recommend?

Sorry but I had to edit my last post because I was wrong about something.
Can you please re-visit my edited post on top of this one?
Thanks!

Hello, I am confused as to what you want? I would follow the steps that I said above.

Well as I said, I use vbSEO for a Webmaster forum
I understand that I have to enable Goog to be spread to all of my forum pages right but there are other options such as,
1. Add Google Analytics "Tracking External Link Clicks" Code?
2. Enter format for Google Analytics External Links Tracking
3. Enable Google Analytics Funnel for Member Registrations?
4. Google Segmentation Tracking
So I am just trying to make sure that these options are either enabled or disabled for the type of forum that I have with the exception of #3 which is default /outgoing/ which I don't comletely understand that one.
I realy appreciate your help and you following me on this one.
I have learned so much about vbSEO this week and I just need to know it all.
Thanks again so far Michael!![]()

Okay, I will take your recommnedation on that but I have the LAST question and BTW you have been so helpful!!
When I add new forums and/or sub-cats, does vbSEO pick that up or do I need to do anything to update the new ones?
Thanks again!
