can I ask I installed the live stats and it looks great. As yet I havent put the google analytical code on my board. I take it I have to add this, but where is the best place to place this code for best results?

When you login to your Analytics account you'll see your domain names listed and next to your domain name there is an Edit link. The link should look something like

https://www.google.com/analytics/settings/profile_summary?id=18167***

The numbers next to id= is the id you need to add.

If you are not yet running Analytics on your forum, there is a vBSEO feature (in the control panel, vbseocp.php) that allows you to enter your identifier, and the tracking will be set up for you automatically.

Ok entred Code in the following format: UA-9999-1 in the control panel, vbseocp.php
Also LiveStats for Google Analytics I put my analytics email and password in (when saved code box just shows 0). Nothing seems to have happened. In the analytics on google it says analytics not installed? Have I missed something?

Unfortunately useful information like this isn't finding its way closer to the first post in the thread where the product is found and people install it and then start having problems.

Tip
Forums aren't real good at allowing members to put updated information in a place where it isn't buried. But the edit function works and a lot of developers often reserve a spot by writing "reserved" so that when they know something that others need to know, the information is found where it needs to be found.
