Drop in Direct Traffic ever since Home Page Changes

Hello,
I recently did a complete home page redesign and my page here:

IndusLadies - Global Online Community of Indian Ladies

Ever since the changes were done the direct traffic has dropped by 62%.

Any thoughts on what is the root cause for the drop and how to arrest it?

What are you using to track stats? i see no analytics code on this page, yet you are using it on the forums. that may be your answer.

That said,
There's a lot of issues with this style.

Foremost, you have no meta tag information.

2nd, most of your quotes on elements are the wrong quote marks. You're using the 'curly' quote (which doesn't paste correctly here). You want to use straight ' or even better, use the proper straight double quote " mark.

There's also many html markup errors.

Thanks for the response.
Have couple of questions:

1. Will Issues with the style affect the direct traffic to the web page?
2. My old home page was in the path - public_html but this new home page is in the path - public_html/index . I have a 301 redirect for the url change and will it still affect the direct traffic for this page?

What are you using to measure traffic with? As stated, there is NO analytics code on the home page, and thus, nothing is tracking.

Looks like we missed the Google analytics code in the new home page. Now that I have included the same hope that the issue is resolved.
