Analytics in vbSEO vs coded in header

I have had analytics runnng by coding it into my header.
As a new vbSEO user I noticed there is provision for analytics in the vbseocp.

The question is, is there any advantage to using the vbSEO setting rather than the coding I have in the header??

vbseo's built in analytics allows for more than just basic integration. It tracks segmentation and allows for goal funnels to be easily implemented. Plus, it doesn't require a template edit/revert everytime you upgrade. Using vbseo's tool is the better way.
