Your suggestions are important to us and we want to make sure that they are not only heard but that the community has input on them. We have always offered a suggestion forum for this purpose but it is very easy for popular and in demand suggestions to get lost. In order to counteract this we are going to make a few changes to how the Suggestion forum works.

First, we want to know what you feel is important and what isn't. However this can be difficult to determine when reading comments. In order to compensate for this, we would like to encourage you to rate the suggestions that you feel are important using vBulletin's rating system. Those suggestions with the higher ratings will be looked at and evaluated first. As each person only gets one vote, this gives us a better determination of demand.

Second, we are going to change the default sort order of the Suggestion forum so that it sorts based on these ratings. Higher rated suggestions will then bubble to the top of the list while unpopular suggestions will bubble to the bottom. The more suggestions you vote on the better you can help make vBulletin.

In addition to this, we ask that you use the existing prefixes to categorize your suggestions. While evaluating suggestions this will help developers and project leaders filter to get to the things that are important at that moment.
