vBulletin 4 Series Development Update

Now, with the new private beta started, are you guys in?

In how many days do you expect to have vBSEO released after the Gold release of vBulletin 4.0?

You know, vBSEO must be ready at the right time, as we can give up any plugin for days or weeks, but we cannot give up vBSEO and risk our indexed pages.

So an answer is anticipated here.

Yes, we are included in the private alpha for vB4. We're hoping to have our compatibility update released on the same day as vB4 if possible.

It should be feasible. It depends on how many changes we assess, and the time between their alpha and full launch, but we should be in great shape do to Jelsoft's great strategy in getting the alpha into the hands of the 3rd party developer community.

Did you guys (vbseo) have to sign an NDA for access to the alpha version of vbulletin?

Well that is good news. so are you bound to any terms from vbulletin about what you can release and share about vb4? What are your thoughts of vb4 now that you have it in your hands?

I believe there is a misunderstanding , we currently don't have vBulletin 4 in our hands. We know the exact same thing all you guys are aware until today. We have just received an invitation to join Alpha test stage but we don't know when we will receive the alpha version yet.

I can share that I'm excited to finally see the new CMS in action! Can't wait for alpha to arrive.

We do not have it. vBulletin has not released it to the alpha/beta team yet.

I liked that confession.philosophy I think as in life, there's always a time to upgrade to heaven. Sadly I don't have a large community based on this yet... hopefully oneday
