vBulletin 4.1.6 (Mobile Style Updates Only) is now available for download

vBulletin 4.1.6 Beta 1 is now available for download from your members area.

Important: vBulletin 4.1.6 is focused on delivering major updates to the vBulletin Mobile Style only - it has no updates or fixes for the core software. The shortly upcoming vBulletin 4.1.7 release focuses on bug fixes and will contain massive amount of updates to the core software. Please plan your upgrade path accordingly - you may skip 4.1.6 if you do not use the mobile style system.

Mobile Style update
This incorporates

• Blog and CMS functionaility
• Expanded mobile browser support

I've downloaded a 4.1.6 that is NOT in beta.

You guys got access to that yet?

I have no idea what they did. lol it's very confusing.

It almost sounds like 4.1.6 will never be 'gold', and just going to 4.1.7 as the next 'gold' version.

Yeah! Weird.

Conflicts with Insights too, well, stops Insights working. So don't download it yet if you use Insights.

I hope you guys are working on the 4.1.7 version then now ready for when they surprise us all with the release of it. Wouldn't want conflicts with actual VBSEO at all. That's screw things right up. At least this is just Insights for now. And a very small catchment of users with the problem no doubt too for now.

It is impossible for us to 'work on' 4.1.7 as we don't have it. We get it the same day all customers do.

I spent years in software and not giving major vendors pre-access to software release notes and code related to major changes is a big hinderance to the 3rd party developers and end customers that rely on both products for business purposes.

So I noticed a bug with vBSEO compatibility in the new vB 4.1.6 Mobile Style update. See screenshot...

That is again a bug in Mobile Style , not vBSEO
