Flexible URL mapping
This feature enables administrators to place the CMS in the root url of your site in a much simpler fashion. It also provides some flexibility as to the url's of other parts of the software.

• Feature Request: Separating Forum/Blog/CMS/etc.
• Improvement Request: Please put CMS in /index.php and FORUMS in /forums/index.php
• Improvement Request: using blog/forum in subdirectory
• Bug: User link broken in Social Groups > Group > Picture
• Bug: Deletion of Picture comments doesn't work
• Bug: Blog entry subscription manager doesn't work
• Bug: "Manage" links of deleted threads are broken in search results
• Bug: Blog subscription removal broken (Regression from vB3)
• Bug: Deprecated blog search code
• Bug: Obsolete templates
• Bug: Allow default CMS node to be the site root
• Bug: Missing images
• Bug: Picure count/link not showing on group discussion search result.
• Bug: Social group search results displays bogus last post info when group has no discussions
• Bug: [Blog] Blog Settings
• Bug: Unnecessary 'Manage' link for template postbit_globalignore
• Bug: Link to picture on picture comment moderation view is wrong.

Install/Upgrade fixes
Here are some of the fixes to the installer/upgrader that are included:

• Bug: Incorrect field name in setting table - defaultvalue, not default_value
• Bug: Bug during installation - Duplicate entry 'socnet' for key 1
• Bug: Hardcoded phrase "Query Status" in /install/includes/class_upgrade_ajax.php
• Bug: Upgrader: "Query Status" doesn't show existing processes
• Bug: Ugrading from VB 4.0.7: the progress bar stops at 57% and never finish the upgrade
• Bug: Upgrade button "Begin Upgrade" don't work
• Bug: Could not find phrase 'attachpathfailed': upgrade fails
• Bug: Database error in vBulletin 4.0.8 upgrading to 4.1.0 PL2
• Bug: Install - Detect Safe Mode enabled on server and pause for correct info
• Bug: ssh upgrader may not check writeable clientscript folder?
• Bug: tools.php doesn't import the all the template groups
• Bug: Typo in 4.0.8 upgrade phrase "Profile customization settings"

CMS fixes
Here are some of the fixes included in 4.1 for the CMS:

• Bug: Validation error: Need to change & to &

• Bug: Article Preview Cache
• Bug: Database Not Updated Correctly when deleting CMS articles via AdminCP
• Bug: CMS widget "Recent Articles" ignores Article settings (Display Title/Author/Published Date)
• Bug: Fatal Error on all CMS pages after uninstalling, then reinstalling CMS
• Bug: typo in the default vbcms_widget_static_page template

Misc fixes/improvements
Here are a number of the fixes made to everything else in the product:

• Bug: "Hide Variables" doesn't work in some browsers
• Improvement Request: profilevisitor Daily Cleanup Doesn't Need To Read From Master
• Bug: Could not find phrase 'invalid_sitemap_content_type'.

so far so good no issues, but i didn't use that url mapping till vbseo get a handle on it.

You shouldn't use it at all. Like most of the vb4 built in 'seo' features, vbseo REPLACES the built in functions. If you are using vbseo for this now, you should continue to use vbseo for it.

yea i gotcha i read that notice here vBulletin 4.1.1 BETA Available to Download

Is vb's url mapping disable or is this something we will need to do after the install?

It currently isn't compatible at all with vbseo. We are working with vb to make it work.
