Looks like they have also built in the "Welcome Header" mod, on steroids, which is fully customizable.

    Nice.

    I agree.

A lot of the new additions are looking "Sweet" & I for one will be looking forward to trying it out upon the beta being released. vBulletin 4.0 will then become the main focus of the developers & if the ending of vBulletin shows us anything, it shows that we should expect many great things in vBulletin 4.0 - in a year or a little more.

I think turning member profiles into a facebook like format is a very good idea.

Might have to start indexing them again as they will actually have some content.

It looks like a great update so far, it's obvious that many of the new features are basically "copied" from existing mods, but I'm pretty sure they have better performance and integration since the vbulletin team is professional and most of the mods are done by hobbyists.

I wonder if and how profile pages are integrated with blogs for example, since they're quite directly linked to each other in my opinion..

How can we fully sypport it when it hasn't even been released in BETA form yet? I don't forsee any issues with it working, however, a new vBSEO release would be required to support rewriting of some of the new features most likely.

Looking forward to it myself, will be interesting to see the spam management tools in action and if they will have to be adapted within a few months of it's release.
