vBulletin 3.7.5 Released

Well it needs to be test thoroughly by the pre-release team, but that cannot happen until vBulletin 3.8 goes gold. However, I do not expect it to take to long.

have you already begun developing and testing with VB 3.0 RC2 or are you waiting for Gold to be released?

If you are waiting, how long do you anticipate I will be have to wait to install both products?

Do you recommend waiting to upgrade to VB 3.8 until you have your software ready for it?

Will it cause any problems to my large traffic community if I try to install VB 3.8 Gold with VBSEO 3.20 Gold?

Yes, it is already being developed with the RC2, you can look in our footer here and see that we are running 3.2.5 (Undistributed and untested on all environments)

Well, if I were in your position, I would not upgrade my vbulletin until my vbseo was ready to be upgraded as well to make sure that your vbulletin can be fully optimized, however, the decision is yours.

vBSEO not only rewrites the URLs, it 301 redirects the "old" content to the newly rewritten location. That means that if you decided to install 3.8 without having vBSEO support the new URLs (and there are plenty in the new version), once you upgrade to the vBSEO that does, any indexed/bookmarked content will be redirected accordingly.

ohhh so you should please release 3.2.5 as early as possible. I thought I would be upgrading my vb tomorrow as soon as 3.8 final is released, but i feel I am stuck.

It's planned to release it soon.

However, I can't provide ETA's.

One thing is for sure: Everybody is working on getting it out as soon as possible.

I am a bit tired of upgrading
i have always a hard time with it.

Why does Vbulletin have so many upgrades?
and then always again a Patch short time later
and then again a new upgrade to fix bugs and and
seems this never ends.
