    [you] replacement mod

    Hi everyone,

I have the [you] Replacement - vBulletin.org Forum mod installed on my forum. This places the username of the member who's logged in wherever you type [you]. But I have a relevant replacement before showthread and it's showing up as [you] instead of the members name. See pic.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this please?

    Thanks

The [you] plugin is running on the vBulletin templates before the vBSEO relevant replacements are applied. That is why the replacement is not done within the Relevant Replacements.

Ah ok...don't think there's anything I can do about that then.

    Thanks for confirming that Joe.

    Glen,

One thing that might work would be to change the Plugin's (the [you] Plugin) execution order to something greater than the vbseo plugin's in your Plugin Manager.

I've had a look at the vBSEO plugins and as far as I can see they all have an execution order of 5.

There are only 3 [you] plugins so I set their execution order to 6 but it still didn't work. The, just for fun, I changed them to 4 and then 7 but still didn't work.

Thanks for thinking about it though, was worth a try.

Dang. Hmm. Did you actually post something with the [you] tag after making the changes?

    Things tend to be cached.
