    XCache in vBSEO

    hii..

    I know vbseo has its own inbuilt xcache support. I do have XCache enabled for vbulletin.

    1. What does xcache of vbseo do? Does it reduce some global queries? In short, is it recommended to use XCache of vbseo, should I enable it?

    2. There's no good article over vbseo's caching system here. Can we get one

    Thank you

    Hello,

    This is a beta option at this stage and we don't have official documentation on it. It is recommended to enable Caching support option since vBSEO stored forums info and other details there to reduce the number of sql queries.

    If I have this option enabled, what option should I have in my config.php file?

    Code:
    $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Filecache';
    or

    Code:
    $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Memcached ';
    Thanks

    If you have Xcache enabled for vbseo, why using filecache or memcache for vbulletin then.

    Use xcache for vb too.

    $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_XCache';

    xCache support in vBulletin has been introduced with vB 3.7.x series. If you are running 3.6.x you have to upgrade your vB.
