WMT Duplicate meta descriptions

Hi,

WMT report 'Duplicate meta descriptions' between

the thread Title (description)
and
the links (see Attachement) for each post in the thread
.
How to fix it ?

Make sure you are using latest version of vBSEO 3.3.0 and vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.5

Upgraded to 3.3 Gold

Same issue. By example, you can see the issue between:

AND

1) the second link in 1) is duplicate content
2) the second link in 2) is ok
.

You should:

• use the option "replace showpost with permalink" for showpost pages in vbseocp (expanded settings under preset, click +)
• robtots.txt showpost.php to Disallow
• NOT include showpost in your sitemap

I don't find it in vbsepcp.

Look under Permalink

under the preset Select drop down, there's a +/- sign for Advanced settings. click the plus sign.

then scroll down to the permalink option heading.

ok i see:

Replace post number link with Permalink
Will replace individual showpost links with the "Permalink" link. Note: Posts will no longer be accessible individually.
