Will vBSEO become redundant when vB 5 is out?

Just wondering as I may just get rid of vBSEO all together and take a hit on my site indexing for awhile and just stick with vBulletin's system in v5. Seems like vBSEO is more trouble than it's worth and innovation/updates are non-existent anymore.

    Hello ,

There is no way we can answer that question right now as we don't have any information other than you have related vbulletin 5. However vBSEO is actively developed and a vBulletin 5 compatible version will surely be released when time comes.

What is coming in VB5 that potentially replaces vbSEO?

Not sure, just haven't seen any substantial update to vBSEO for around year now. So I'd rather not take vBSEO's word for an update or support for vBulletin v5. Tweetboard hasn't even been removed or replaced with anything. Nothing but a couple necessary security tweaks to stay afloat.

I'll answer, since they're talking about features here and there. They want to improve their SEO efforts more than they think they have already. vB4's SEO was not good enough, and this is something vBSI has been putting a lot of emphasis on in their brochure. I already made a thread here about ForumCon/vB5...
