Why Should I Renew?

I run a forum for supporters of an English Football Club (Called Everton).

I purchased vBSEO in August last year with the hope to increase my Google ranking for the search "Everton Forum". Unfortunately, it hasn't.

Prior purchasing vBSEO I was 3rd/4th for the search "Everton Forum" and I remain the same.

The forums ahead of me are also smaller. I have tried all the optimise tips on the forum but to no avail.

For this reason I see no point in renewing next month. I mean, a new small Everton forum, on a poor piece of software with no vbSEO optimisation is just one place behind mine on Google.

Activity wise - my forum blows it out of the water - I realise activity isn't everything but I also have paid for vbSEO.

Baffled.

Search engine traffic is also very similar to the year prior vBSEO.

Can anyone give me a reason why I should renew next month? It doesn't seem worthwhile for me

You should renew only if you need the latest version right now, or if you require priority support. Otherwise, it's ok for you to wait until our next version is ready for download.

However, your results are something we can look into. Keep in mind that we do focus on long tail results, thousands of hits for thousands of different keywords. However, success can also be obtained with more targeted terms as well.

I would like to invite you to open a critique thread so that we can take a look at your setup and see if we can pinpoint any sources of problems, or possible areas for improvement.

okay, I followed advice from opening a critique thread and following instructions but sadly, no improvement.

vbseo didn't improve my google ranking in the slightest.

Let me check your forum again and check my suggestions and vBSEO Also check the thread changes date please reply to your critique thread

Also provide me in your critique thread with your long tail and visitors number in this month and in the last 2 or 3 months (Screenshot from Google analytics)
