Where to start

hi guys,

I just have vBSEO installed on my forum. But I'm overwhelmed with the CP. Could anyone tell me where I should start with please?

In general, most of the default settings will be fine.


I'd suggest

A) turning it on (1st option)
B) choosing a preset from the drop down for your re-write style (i prefer #5, but you may use whatever you wish)
C) entering your analytics UA-XXXXX-X id into the blank if you use google analytics. (also, if you previously did a manual template edit, you can take that out, as vbseo will do it for you nice and easy)

Those 3 things will get you going pretty good. for B), it is not a good idea to change this once you get going.... so pick one you like and stick to it.

The other things can be changed down the road with no ill effect.

What ever was there will still be there. vbseo doesn't interfere with that.
