    when to stop redirect?

    Hello,

    I was wondering when can stop the redirect of one domain to another? Is it until google update all of the links?

    Once the other site no longer is indexed in Google, you would be safe to remove it.

    However - keep in mind that their could be some physical links on other sites to that domain. If you remove the redirects the traffic will not end up at your new forum - they'll just get an error and be lost.

    Since the redirect does not cause any overhead, and is just a backup to ensure your traffic finds your new location, you should probably just keep it in place indefinitely.
