What are threadid's ?

I just bought Vbseo and installation.

I get a e-mail saying in order for my url's not to have numbers in them I need Threadids.

First off I have no idea what that is.

Second I wish I had gone through the forums here more because if i had known that for over a hundred dollars I was buying something that put numbers into my url I would never have bought this software.

I may not know programing but I do know SEO.

Never ever have numbers in your url.

You might as well add them to your anchor text also.

Ever seen anchor text with numbers ? LOL I didn't think so.

The number thing used to work maybe 3 years ago. It's outdated and dead.

Would having numbers at the end help instead of the php url.

Yes it will and will make a difference but it's not correct SEO.

So now that I have paid for installation and the software I have to go find out what threaid mods are and have my programer install them.

I should have just paid him to do a mod rewrite to get what I wanted.

I read on here how people used this software and there adsense jumped to this and how they sold their site for 20k.

I build sites and sell them.

Takes me 1 year or less to make a adsense site and I sell them.

Last year I sold one for 25k.

This year after 7 months I sold one for 12k.

So I know what I am talking about far as SEO.

Numbers in the url ----------> shakes head....

Threadid's are the id's that define each vBulletin thread such as 34783 in this thread. Threadid's are required inside rewrite rules in order not to allow duplicate titles. There can be multiple threads with same title thats why threadid's are required to have within urls.

For your information : Including threadid's doesnt effect SEO at all.
