What happens afetr installation of vBSEO reg. Google?

I am considering vBSEO but have some questions.

I am running a successful forum but I wonder how this will affect Google once installed, since Google already have 60,000 pages indexed.

Will the old URLs still work to access certain pages/thread?

    Any experience on this?

One more question, I already modified my tamplates to show section keywords in TITLE before the thread title. How customizable is this with vBSEO? Or can I leave my old template hack to leave it as is?

In my current forum the TITLE tag look like "SECTION KEYWORD(S) - THREAD TITLE"

    @Nicke:

    - Your 60,000 pages currently indexed in Google will still work. When clicked, the user will be automatically 301 redirected to the new content relevant URL (CRU).

    - If Googlebot attempts to re-crawl the pages it has in its index, it will discover the 301 redirects and update its index.

    - In the vBSEO Admin Control Panel you can enable/disable rewriting of your META KEYWORDS & DESCRIPTION content. If you want to keep your current META hack functioning as-is, then simply disable the vBSEO META rewriting.

My site is pretty crappy amongst google. In fact, I was afraid I had been dropped or something, cause I had tons of old links up, but none of them were being updated.

I've been seeing the googlebots again, and I am getting my pages indexed. A lot of the duplicate pages are being dropped, too.

    second that...
in my case i had more to lose as i as on xenons hack which had to be double redirected and google doesn't like double redirects..
But no probs at all. In 2 months i have more links in google and higer ranks than i ever could have had.

I installed vBSEO yesterday so it will be interesting to see the outcome of it.

I noticed today however that Yahoo! don't respect the "nofollow" for print threads, no big deal but I wouldnt mind if these pages were dropped. Prefer traffic to my real pages instead of the print threads.

Did I miss something in the installation? I don't have a vBSEO Admin Control Panel that I can see?

Rewrites are working just like I'd expect them too ....

Thanks, I truly missed that one ...

The installation was so snappy, quick, and easy, I probably browsed right over it in the instructions ... WOW was it quick and easy ...

    Greg

***Edit Note Added*** ... just in case anyone misinterpreted ... the above comment was serious, the installation was the easiest I have ever experienced ...

Some update since the installation few days ago. (4 1/2 days ago)

Google have just 51 pages indexed with the new vbseo pages.

Yahoo have 2420 pages indexed. (But they also index lot of pages I would rather not have. Specific posts and print pages)

Have you enabled rel=nofollow's for showpost and printthread?
