Some people are beginning to talk some things I would not like to hear, could you explain. I need to hear from the horse's mouth.

Probably the script that grabs your license number and puts it into your datastore. Sometimes that can fail though. (In an older version of vbSEO, it didn't work correctly with the File Datastore, which I use.)

If you paste your license number into your config file, it shouldn't need to continue accessing that URL.

Some are suggesting and this is only speculation of what I'm hearing that this script is grabbing information from the db. What information I'm not sure of.

this is a javascript inclusion and js simply CANNOT access your db or whatever on your server, because it is executed at the browser side, not at your host

Its only purpose is to show additional "menu" items for other plugins released by vBSEO. Currently it is only "vBSEO Conditional Signatures Plugin", but if we'll make another one, our users will see that.

EDIT: And, yes - it's never mentioned in this thread: this is a javascript include in the vBSEO Google / Yahoo Sitemap Generator hack (not vBSEO itself).
