Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought vBSEO. Will someone please comfort me?

After almost a year of debating whether to spend the $149, I took the plunge today and did it. I have this knot in my stomach after reading all the it-works vs it-doesnt-work threads, and I'd appreciate hearing from some of you who are really happy you made the purchase.

The site I purchased it for has around 8500 members and has been around almost two years. Despite our size, growth, thread count, etc. and the fact that around 43% of our traffic comes from search engines, our results for even the most relevant searches are burried many pages deep. We currently get around 157,000 visits per month, with 51,000 visitors. It's growing quickly, around 15-30 members per day, but if we can grow faster I figure why not.

Site like yours (decent traffic, lots of content) are the perfect candidates for vbseo. there's enough content to make its way up the ranks of search and theres fresh content being added daily. I think you will see great results in a few weeks.

Totally Agree with you Brian, I've just checked your site and it has very good and great content, However your forum title is not the best title for SEO don't add your domain name in your forum title but add your exact forum name not the full domain name that's will help you to increase long tail search, I sure you will get more results quickly since your site is very active

Thanks for the feedback guys! I always have buyers remorse after making a big purchase, but I think this should pay off

    Marco,

I actually just read the stickied thread about removing forum titles and such. I think they're correct now, but from what I read I thought I should only have the forum title/thread title in the title. Is that correct?

No, To increase search long tail remove the forum title from threads title but just change it to be more relevant to your content so don't use your domain name, For example our site vbseo.com and we can say vBulletin SEO Forums or vBSEO Forums but not vbseo.com
