    Welcome Headers and VBSEO - Where to Put it

    I had a few questions about welcome headers and VBSEO. I have welcome headers installed on my forums for guests and as a global announcement, so my welcome headers are always showing.

    Right now i put it in the navbar as text rather than an image, which i've seen talk about on vbulletin.org regarding VBSEO.

    so right now its showing up like this in the navbar
    Code:
    <input type="text" class="bginput" id="pagenav_itxt" style="font-size:11px" size="4" />
                    <input type="button" class="button" id="pagenav_ibtn" value="$vbphrase[go]" />
                </form>
                </td>
            </tr>
            </table>
        </div>

    <!-- / PAGENAV POPUP -->
    </if>
    $welcomeheaders
    <if condition="!$show['guest']">
    <br />
    <else />
    <!----googleads---->
    <table style="padding: 0px 6px 3px 6px;" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center">

    <tr>
        <td class="page" align="center">
            <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-4318029076195662";
    google_ad_width = 710;
    google_ad_height = 15;
    google_ad_format = "728x15_0ads_al_s";
    google_ad_channel = "";
    google_color_border = "ffffff";
    google_color_bg = "ffffff";
    google_color_link = "22229C";
    google_color_text = "000000";
    google_color_url = "008000";
    //--></script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
      src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>
        </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <!----/googleads---->

    • What is the benefit of me putting it in the navbar as apposed to the header?
    • Why make it an image for VBSEO rather than text?
    Thanks,
    Dan
