    Welcome Header

I have installed the welcome header mod from vbulletin.org Welcome headers - Improve community registration rates - vBulletin.org Forum on my site at Saltwater Aquariums, Marine Fish & Reef Aquarium Forum - Living Reefs , I was wondering if there was a way to make sure the search engines did not index that section of text on every page of mine.

I know this isn't a vbSEO specific question but you guys know your **** and I thought maybe you would have a suggestion.

    Thanks!

You've got it showing below your navbar, which is the suggested location, so you should be all set.

There's no way I know of to force search engines not to index certain parts of a page.

Maybe conditioning the public (for non-logged users) message to be an image?

What I need is it to not show up for spiders.

If you make it an image, the spiders won't be able to read it since it's not text, but humans will.
