Great. Can you point me in the right direction where I can use this feature in more templates?

Why does Virtual HTML Display kill vb notices? I use several notices and I started getting emails as to why people couldn't do simple tasks that the notices told people about. I disabled this function and the notices came back. Why would you kill a default function of vb?

    Thanks,

It doesnt kill vB Notices. Virtual Html Display just wraps notices with Javascript. If your browser javascript is disabled , then you cant see notices.

Most probably there are xHTML validation issues in your forum skin.

Use your previous forumhome template (in post #35), (ie, without the virtual html tags)
and then get the xHTML errors fixed.

Can someone confirm that I can use virtual HTML display in any way I wish within vbulletins templates without being penalised? I have used this to rid of the reply counts etc on the index as well as a few other things.

Also, is this fine to use around the vbseo copyright?

    Thank you.

No , you cannot use this within vBSEO Copyright or vBulletiin Copyright as Copyright has to be visible in all pages even javascript is disabled.

Yes, you could use it around the copyright.

Update: I stated this incorrectly. The admin team has informed me that the copyright cannot be disabled with Virtual HTML Display at this time.

It seems like you want to apply it to many small items in the template. I have to check with the dev team to see if that would cause any performance issues on active forums (i.e. a large # of times used).

The dev team informs me that multiple applications of the Virtual HTML Display feature within the template could result in a slow down in the user experience. This is something you'll want to pay close attention to as you target different sections of your documents to optimize with VHD.
