Question Is vBSEO Running in My Forums?

I installed VBSEO 3.6 Gold yesterday. There were some serious issues with the installation related to the .htaccess file. I and vBSEO Team solved the issue:

    Problems Installing: Error 500

I am not sure how to tell that vBSEO is fully active in my forums. I can see here, in vBSEO forums, the copyright notice, which means vBSEO is installed and fully active:

SEO by vBSEO 3.6.0 ©2011, Crawlability, Inc.

I don’t see any such notice in my forums or threads:

Forums: Lottery, Lotto, Gambling, Software, Systems

I do have a vBSEO control panel and can access it.

    Illuminating, please?

    Thank you in advance.

    No,
It doesn't look like you have installed it correctly as it is not functioning on your site.

Make sure you're done everything in the readme.html file for both ftp'ing files, the htaccess file, and importing the product into the adminCP.

Curious, however, that I had a vBSEO control panel and the copyright notice on the archive. But NO vBSEO copyright notice in my forums or threads.

This morning, I succeeded to, hopefully, successfully FULLY install vBSEO. I can see now the vBSEO copyright notice. Wow! What a relief!

I don’t know exactly what I did. I deleted .htaccess in my forum root folder. I reedited .htaccess (RewriteBase / without # in front), and uploaded it very carefully. I looked long and hard at transfer mode in my FTP client. I made absolutely sure .htaccess was uploaded as ASCII.

This could be helpful to other webmasters. The .htaccess file causes the most problems with vBSEO, especially installation. That file can easily bring down an entire forum!

    Best of luck to all!
