This is a discussion on vBSEO processes within the General Discussion forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; Does vBSEO normally have two processes running at that same time? I have some high loads today, and I see ...
vbseo.php processes everything, and thus any requests to any script will create a 'vbseo.php' instance on that list. That just means 2 threads were loaded at the same time/etc.

I think I discovered a wonderful way to bring things to a crawl. Place your entire list of acronyms on the same page and encourage your users to add to them. Before you know it a dozen users are all pulling up the same page, with the same list of acronyms on it.
The CPU load went very high, until I removed the expansion text from the control panel. It's probably not a good idea to list all your acronyms on the same page. Take a look and you'll see what I mean. Oh and at the same time, Google wanted to know what all the fuss was about, so it had to take a look as well.

Yes, any replacement like this should be used sparingly.

Using too many Acronym replacements are not a good idea. We don't suggest evet using Acronym Replacements on a big board either.
