You can't, without heavily modifying those applications. They each have built in options to have "search engine friendly urls", but that doesn't use keywords in the URLs. That's not something vBSEO can do, since the programs themsevles would need to be modified.

There seems to be some confusion here.

I purchased vBSEO after reading Does VBSEO work with Photo Post? which says
Yes, vBSEO is compatible ... You can define Custom Rewrite Rules to create static links.
Now I'm trying to find out what how to rewrite my Photopost links and I stumble upon this thread.

So does vBSEO work with Photopost or not?

It depends on what you mean by 'works'.

You cannot get the titles of the categories/images into the URL, but you can define custom rewrite rules for static links.

You shall ask Photopost Pro optimizations within their board.

For some reason I am 100% certain that if I asked on their board I wouldn't get ONE reply back.

We all know what the support is like over there.

And uhhhh, who's to say that this is something that THEY should do? Why ask on their board? Why is this not something I can ask on THIS board.

This reminds me of when I used to have a problem with my PC and my hardware manufacturer told me it's a Microsoft issue and I would ask Microsoft and they told me it was a hardware issue that I had to ask my hardware manufacturer about.

    WHY ask them?
    Thanks,
    Dan

Thing is, Photopost is a copyrighted program, owned by All Enthusiast.

It makes it more difficult to provide instructions on how to exactly modify the files, given we are prohibited by said copyright from posting their code.

As we (vBSEO) provide vBSEO Functions for Extensibility , you can take those to Photopost and ask them to add hooks/tell you how to modify their code without any problems.
