vBSEO Notifications not being dismissed immediately+fix here.

Hi there, I wanted to post this because I am not sure if you guys have been receiving a lot of complaints about notifications not being dismissed immediately or having a delay on notifications being dismissed.
Basically vBSEO is having some issues where if you dismiss a notification it doesn't dismiss right away, it takes several seconds for the system to recognize that the notification was dismissed.

The Fix:
Disable in vBSEO options Rewrite Member Profile URLs? to No (It's under the advanced user settings)

Now, the notifications dismiss immediately.

Affected versions: vBulletin 4.2 with vBSEO latest version.

All notification dismiss's are fully working on every site i manage. Your problem can highly be related to a wrong coded third party modification.

HI Mert, it looks like it was Varnish Cache.
I disabled that and now everything works fine.

What vBulletin version and Varnish you are using Emon ?

Please let me know your vbulletin varnish config file so i may assist on setting correct configuration.

Hi Mert, I was using this plugin with cPanel: UNIXy.Net Fully Managed Servers - cPanel and DirectAdmin Varnish Script Plugin
I don't have the plugin anymore or the configs since my host uninstalled. :(

Varnish need special configuration for vBulletin as it shouldn't cache some items like cookies. You can't simply install Varnish and use with default configuration on vBulletin or many other similar scripts. You need to exclude some cookies. An example of escaped cookies should be set as following

Sorry about the late notice, I tried what Mert said and that did it on my test server!
I am planning to not use Varnish Cache anymore, realized we are doing fine with what we have for now.
