vbseo and memory problems

I just received this email from hsotgator, is this common:

Hello.

We have raised some limits on your VPS, as they were set too low. However a level 3 VPS has less memory available than shared hosting, and lacks the memory to run VBSEO on a forum for a large number of users due to memory constraints. This is causing the server to randomly fail with 500 errors when memory is not sufficient to serve the current number of concurrent users. I would advise disabling VBSEO or upgrading to at least a level 5 VPS in order to have additional memory available.

please open a ticket with login details and your hosting ID with hostgator if possible. We have an open communication channel with hostgator at this time to try and figure out why their servers don't like vbseo.
