It really isn't as bad as it looks, and in most cases the default settings will work out fine once installed. However if you do decide to buy be sure to browse some of the customers forums and take note of their re-written URL's, find the format you like and be sure to set your URL's up that way from the start.
I think I could handle the changing or URLs since all you have to do is select one. But as for everything else on there I'm clueless.
We recommend going with our defaults. However, once you have installed, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Once our customers get comfortable with vBSEO, they sometimes begin to experiment with some of our more advanced features like Custom Rewrite Rules, Relevant Phrases, etc.
However - you can get started with the default settings in about 5 minutes, and instantly be up and running with vastly improved SEO for your forum.
So just installing this thing will make it so I rank higher on search engines, therefore more people will be viewing my site?
Installing it will significantly improve your SEO. The expected result is that you will gain potential traffic from thousands of threads on your site. Your forum will be optimized on a page by page basis.
And, yes, the ultimate result of SEO is more visitors sent from the various search engines.![]()
