Okay so I understand you link directly to the Thread you want to reference.

Im going to rename the Link Bank phrase to something like URL Source so it makes sense to the person, but then again this only works on VBSEO forums anyway right?

So, if URLs are listed in Update Services, pings will be sent? Or does some other setting need to be changed? Is there an on/off setting for just this option?

How do the various tracking and pinging handle private forums? If I have a forum set for only certain users, I don't want a ping sent to anyone anywhere when a post is made or an URL is included.

When your users include links in posts, you have an opportunity to get a linkback from the pingback. In this case, it can be said that having a two way link it certainly preferable than simply linking out.

When you get incoming LinkBacks, you do not *have* to approve them. You can keep them moderated and simply be aware that a LinkBack has been created.

However, a site should not be a *dead end*. Content with outbound links to *relevant* sources is an indication of authority on the topic as well. However, you have to be discriminating. Don't just reward every LinkBack, with a visible link on your pages. Make sure they are relevant to the topic, or don't approve them.

I created a new style with no parent. And I used it but there is same problem. I also looked for showtread style for any problems. But Its like a default style.
