vBSEO Install = Success, What's Next?

Took advantage of the 48 hour deal and purchased vbSEO gold. I'm so intimidated with the settings, i'm scared to touch it. Which is why I am creating this thread. What settings, downloads, and other stuff I should do to properly configure vbSEO to it's fully extent?

Thanks everyone and thanks to the vbSEO staff.

(P.S. Fresh install of vbSEO, haven't installed any other addons for vbSEO.)

Only rewrite showthread, forumdisplay and member.php. The rest leave as dynamic and add the files to your robots.txt file. You don't want showpost indexed along with printthread and the rest. Make sure the permalink feature is enabled to turn showpost links into permalinks. This helps build links back to the threads.

Pick on url rewrite format and leave it alone. Keep in mind that if you use Keywords in your urls that any change to the thread title will change the url. This is why I use a simple format such as /t[threadid]/ for my threads. The urls are clean and rewritten and easy to deal with if I have to change the thread title.

Make sure you turn the archive into a sitemap and if you want to take it even farther remove the archive from being indexed via your robots.txt file. This is what I do on my sites.

Make sure you install VBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.0 as well. This will help you track Seach Engine indexing and give you a method of submitting your urls to the search engines.
