    Exclamation VBSEO High Server Load

I have a major problem, need support or an answer of some kind.

    This is my issue

    Code:
    puremark 29184 6.1 0.4 30172 17792 ? R 19:22 0:27 | \_ /usr/bin/php /home/patentgov/public_html/vbseo.php

I have a lot of these entries, but I'm not sure what they mean. They are causing a high server load. How to fix this?

I'm on a shared server, but dedicated IP. In case anyone is wondering.

You are using an earlier version of vBSEO , and a very old version of apache. I can't comment on anything else as your site gives 403 to me but what i can suggest is upgrade vBSEO latest version and you should upgrade to Apache 2.2.9

    I will try this.

Thanks. Yah, it's a 403 cause my hosting company didn't like the high server load. As usually happens.

If you are on a shared server then it is highly unlikely that your host would upgrade Apache version for you.

Yah I know...they are doing it in a few weeks.

But I don't need a shared server at the moment as my forum is relatively dead.

I didn't buy vbseo just to have to pay a <snip> load of cash for a dedicated server and to host worthless piece of <snip> forum community software that can't generate anything for me in return.

So now dedicated server and I guess no more vbseo.

so your leaving a shared sever with vbseo for a dedicated one without it?

the logical jump is NOt to a dedicated, but rather to a VPS.

you can score a vps for under $40 a month.

    servint.com

if you're not even busy, just go to another shared provider that doesn't suck, such as asmallorange.com

I did leave, Mr. College Drop-out.

    I left siteground for hostgator.

The logical jump is not there because there isn't a jump.

Yah, I see the great recommendations -- VBSEO uninstalled.

Expect a support ticket with details to return my url structure to the default vbulletin settings. That would be before vbseo.

Effectively immediately, all relevant vbseo files have been deleted via FTP in a single batch. Isn't that cool? It sure is.

Would you say it's your current foundations' fault if you added an addition to your house, but didn't put a foundation under it... just bolted it on the existing house?

or put a new deck on, but didn't pour new footholds to support the 20 extra feet you went out?

same concept. either way, this is my last post to you. Your attitude is pathetic and 13-year old like. Someone should send him a COPPA form... lol

    Yeah, I dropped out.

But somehow, i'm just <SMART> enough to figure out how to run a website.... tough concept for a graduate, i know.
