Can these things coexist together, and would eaccelerator be a benefit?

Can these things coexist together, and would eaccelerator be a benefit?
Funny enough, I just finally got around to implementing this combo. Like seconds ago. It's a huge benefit. I see a very strong benefit compared to Zend Platform.
Two things - make sure that your ea section comes after the zend section - not sure if this is actually required, but I did see something to that affect somewhere. And the other is - to use extension="eaccelerator.so" rather than zend_extension="eaccelerator.so".
The install is quick and easy for eaccelerator, so it's worth at least a peek. regardless of what I say.
No idea what you are talking about, I am clueless when it comes to understanding anything related to code.
For the record, I did have eaccelerator installed on my server ( I use the zend version of vbseo), and the increase in speed is simply amazing. Had I known this would make such a big difference, I would have done it long ago.
sorry - I was referring to the php.ini entries.
Glad to see you are having a good experience. It made about a 75% speed difference on my site overall - my forums I'm not too sure about, but it is a noticable difference.
Are comparing zend optimizer to ea?

I believe I was capturing processing times by timestamping at the beginning of my php scripts and timestamping the end of them.
