    vbSEO & Conditionals

Before I explore it myself I'd like to ask.
I want to set my forum to only follow links from Signitures.
Or from members who are in a certain group (basically non Newbies)

Can I set vbSEO to add noFollow on all post without
    it adding nofollow to Signitures??

In the new version can you give us a choice of nofollow for certain groups in post? & it's not retroactive or something...

Take a look at the vBSEO Conditional Signature hack over on vbulletin.org.

    Is the answer over there?
I assumed that since my question is mainly about a product I paid for vbSEO I should ask over here. I think the company is under no obligation to answer post over there so I didn't bother looking...

Anyway I think that customers who use vbSEO may also use the conditional signitures wouldn't it be worth it if the answer was here??

I want to use the NoFollow feature on vbSEO
I'm asking if I use it will it affect signitures.

I'll look over at VB.org but it would be good to have that here for vbSEO customers...

vBSEO Conditional Signature hack (a free release by the authors of vBSEO) will do what you are asking. Use it in conjunction with vBSEO.

    Actually I just tried it.
Lucky I looked at the code before I got complaints from my members.

In vbSEO(Commercial Plugin) there is an option to
turn ALL external links to nofollow tags.

I was asking if you enable this, I know the conditional signitures is free but so is the sitemap/analytics but it doesn't mean it may not be very well intergrated. Since the two products are offered by the same company. I wanted to know can the sigs only still show without
    the noFollow.

    The answer is NO.

If you enable ALL external links to NoFollow it defeats the purpose of the conditionals plugins & turns those too to noFollow URLs...

Interesting point on the compatibility issue. We'll look further into this.

A possibility could be integrating the conditional signatures functionality into the default vBSEO package... but I don't see that happening until vBSEO 2.5.0 which will feature a more advanced admin interface.
