VBSEO and APC cache accelerator performance (with zend?)

I want to know if I can install the APC (Alternative PHP Cache) accelerator on my server to improve performance. The only issue would be VBSEO compatibility.

Discusses in detail why this is the becoming the dominant accelerator for PHP. Will this work with the Zend encoded version of VBSEO? My test.php shows compatibility with ioncube and zend.. I am currently using ZEND and would rather not switch, but will if I have to.

Has anyone else run this successfully? I don't want downtime for my large forum.

So apparently APC is not compatibile with ZEND. Has anyone used it with the ioncube version of VBSEO? Did you switch from zend? any problems?

we are using Ioncube version of vBSEO + APC cache here at vbseo.com. No problems noticed so far.

Zend and eAccelerator runs also together.
I had problems installing Ioncube on my hardened Gentoo Systems.
