    vb4 upgrade

I'm sure this has probably been covered numerous times, but I cannot seem to find the answer.

If I upgrade my vb 3.8 forum with vbseo to vb4, right now, will everything still work, including my current link structure?

It will not work with vBSEO 3.3.2 and prior versions... but the upcoming vBSEO 3.5 will be fully compatible with vBulletin 4.0 series. The RC1 version of vBSEO 3.5 should be release the week of the 21st of this month...

    Completion Date
Although we are looking at releasing our Public Beta 1 build of vBSEO 3.5 this next Friday, we *might* not be able to include the new CP with that build. We still want to push the Beta 1 release out that day so that users looking to update their instances to vBulletin 4 RC1 over the weekend, are able to do so with vBSEO support. The inclusion of the new CP on Beta 1 will depend on whether or not we are able to finalize some implementation challenges on-time. In any event, Beta 2, scheduled for next week, will definitely feature the updated CP.

    Release Schedule
    vBSEO 3.5 Beta 1 - Friday 11th, concurrent with vBulletin 4 RC1
vBSEO 3.5 Beta 2 - Next week (from the 14th to the 18th)
vBSEO 3.5 RC1 - The week of the 21st, concurrent with vBulletin 4 Gold

I'd HIGHLY suggest waiting for final versions.

There's over 500 bugs in vb4 Rc2 and several reported bugs in vbseo 3.5 already.
They are NOT meant for production sites yet. It is meant to install on your test site.

Doing so is at your own risk and we are offering little to no support on 3.5 beta1 at this time.

Brian, is it true that it won't work with the CMS?

At this point in time it does not. It worked with RC1, however since RC2 was released, vBulletin made major edits. The next version will be working correctly.

It actually works with CMS. The reported issue is fixed however currently the fix requires a file edit. With next vBulletin version no file edit will be required. Thats why we are currently holding release of the fix.

Mert, will you now be releasing the fix as RC4 is out?
