users getting logged out

I have noticed with my forum if I leave the www. out of the url my users get logged out, they then have to click on a thread / forum to get logged back in.

also if they type in http:// www .pspmod.com / forums they get diverted to http:// pspmod.com / forums which in turn logs them out again.

If a user types in http:// www .pspmod.com / forums/ with a / at the end they are okay. what is the best way to resolve this??

what is your forum URL as defined in vB admincp options?
You should define 301 redirection to your main domain (either www or non-www) as described in 301 Redirecting Domains
