Upgrading VB + vbseo + sitemap

I currently am running vb3.0 with vbseo3r8 and sitemap 1.7.

I'm going to upgrade (finally) my vb to 3.6.5, vbseo to gold, and sitemap to 2.0.

What order should I upgrade them in?

What is the upgrade procedure for vbseo and sitemap when moving from a vb3.0 installation to vb3.6.5?

How can I ensure none of my current vbseo or sitemap settings will be changed?

    Thanks in advance.

Upgrade vbulletin first, and make sure everything is working properly. You don't have to, but I would strongly suggest it so you know you have a properly working forum.

The order of the other two are not important.

Thanks. So having vbseo running in vb3.0 mode won't mess anything up when I upgrade vb to 3.6.5? And are there instructions for upgrading vbseo and sitemap from vb3.0 mode to vb3.6.5 mode? (I remember the initial installs were very different)

There isn't a "3.0" mode. The difference is, you don't make any file modifications like you do for vBulletin 3.0. You just install the vBSEO XML Product file in vBulletin's Product system.

Ok, pardon my density, but wouldn't installing the vbseo xml product file after upgrading to vb3.6.5 duplicate some vbseo stuff if I already installed it once for my vb3.0? After I upgrade to vb3.6.5, vbseo will still be installed, right? Just via the vb3.0 method?

    I'm confused.

When you upgrade to 3.6.5, you will be overwriting the functions.php file that you modified to install vBSEO on 3.0.0. With 3.6.5, no file edits are needed.
